a. Add-A-Lane Project- Bill Paille response to queries.
b. Riverside – No news.
c. St. Philip Neri – No news.
2.) Report on BOA water, sewer and stormwater rate restructuring proposals.
3.) Engine 6 – “By-right” sale for development as two condos?
4.) Report on Area Council border discussion with Newton Highlands and Upper Falls.
5.) Waban Improvement Society – December Programs and report on meeting with Theresa Fitzpatrick, and Lauren Paul
6.) School Updates – Angier and Zervas Projects
COUNCIL ORGANIZATION:
1.) Discussion: Mission Statement; By-Laws; Swearing-In Statement.
2.) Swearing-In ceremony: Set date and “event type” for “swearing-in” ceremony.
3.) Committees – “Friends of the Quinobequin.” All WAC Councilors as Founders.
4.) Communication tools – Google-Groups for notification; “Nextdoor” or other for Waban news/events.
NEW BUSINESS:
City of Newton Food Pantry Drive – cooperation with WIS; need for volunteers;
Possible WAC Silent auction at Village Day as WAC Annual Fundraiser (Involves budget discussion)
Waban presence on City website; Zoning updates; Demolition delay discussions. Other?
