Waban Area Council Candidates Night:

There are 13 Candidates running for the 9 positions on the Council. See Addendum below.

WABAN AREA COUNCIL ELECTION DATES:

Oct. 31, Nov 1, and Nov 4 – Early voting at Election Dept. at City Hall, from 8:30am to 5pm.

Nov. 5 - City Election - (Waban Area Council’s Councilor Election to be held at Zervas School only.)

Nov. 5 – Post-election Party – Details to follow

Tri Council Candidates’ Night – Newton Mayoral, Aldermen-at-Large and School Committee Candidates - Wednesday, October 30, 7pm at Emerson Community Center, 51 Pettee Street, Newton Upper Falls.

The 13 Candidates who are running to become members of the newly formed Waban Area Council will introduce themselves on Thursday, October 24, at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Council at 7:30pm at the Waban Library Center. Voters will elect 9 of the 13 candidates to serve a two-year term. There will be early voting at City Hall on Oct 31, Nov 1, and Nov 4 from 8:30am to 5pm. Voting on November 5 will be exclusively at Zervas School.
