  2. SUGGESTIONS FROM COUNCILORS FOR 2016 AGENDA/PROGRAM ITEMS: SL (5 min) - Please bring written suggestions for programs or agenda items you would like to see addressed in 2016 by the Waban Area Council.
     
  3. NEW BUSINESS: New items that may lawfully arise for discussion. All councilors (5 min max and then deferred to January 14 meeting)
     
  4. ANNOUNCEMENTS/REMINDERS:
    1. Next Waban Area Council Regularly Scheduled Meeting: January 14, 2016, 7:30 PM, Waban Library Center following Angier/Zervas Construction Team Meeting at 7 PM.

1521 BEACON ST (ST. PHILIP NERI) UPDATE - ZBA HEARING SCHEDULED
 
On December 29, 2015, the developer of the property at 1521 Beacon St. (the former St. Philip Neri church) filed a comprehensive permit application with the Newton Zoning Board of Appeals for the proposed 48-unit apartment development at the site.  This is the second step in the 40B permitting process.  The ZBA will open a public hearing on the application on January 26, 2016.  Please visit http://wabanareacouncil.com/issue/1521-beacon-st-development-st-philip-neri-site for more information.  We will post the application materials and any further details as soon as we have them.

Governor Baker’s Executive Order 562 commissions a thorough review of every Executive Branch regulation and its impact on the public. Public feedback is vital to the success of the project and if you or your business is affected by MassDOT regulations in any manner, we strongly encourage you to attend one of the listening sessions listed below and submit written comments to help improve our process.
